A studio where
the body remembers
Quiet luxury. Considered space. Premium equipment. One trainer who sees everyone. That's Pilates 111.
Why reformer pilates, specifically
The studio exists around one conviction: reformer pilates is the most accessible, safest and most effective form of pilates. The apparatus makes possible exercises that would otherwise require years of technique. It gives the body feedback from the very first minute. It forgives mistakes without punishing the body.
After more than 10 years in the industry — fitness centres, group classes, private clients — it became clear that the reformer delivers the most sustainable results. Not the flashiest — the most sustainable. People who start with the reformer stay in movement. That's fundamentally different from trainings that work for three weeks and then stop.
The story behind Pilates 111
Pilates 111 was created as an answer to a question: "Why doesn't a reformer studio exist in Varna where I can train at my own pace, on quality equipment?". A big question, because the answer was simple — because building such a studio is expensive, slow and requires saying no a lot.
Standard pilates studios in Bulgaria are structured for volume — group classes of 8–12 people, reformers from a Chinese production line, training that resembles fitness more than pilates. That works commercially, but it doesn't work for the quality of the session.
Pilates 111 is the opposite. Few reformers (3), small groups (up to 3 people), one trainer. Less economically efficient — but in return you get training that actually works.
The name "111"
The address is 161 Knyaz Boris I Blvd — but "111" is simpler, easier to remember, visually cleaner. Three ones in a row — like the three reformers in the studio, like the three principles of our training, like the three clients in a small group. Coincidental, but not entirely.
Philosophy: 3 principles
1. Technique before intensity
We never do an exercise before the body knows how to perform it correctly. Not "heavier" — but "more precise". Strength, flexibility and durability come from precision.
2. One body, one route
Every body is different. Not a slogan — a working reality. Your programme won't be the same as someone else's, even with a similar goal. The reformer lets us tune for every person — that's why we choose it.
3. Results that last
We don't do training that "impresses" in the moment but leaves no trace. The goal is change that holds for years — posture, control, body awareness. That takes time and consistency. Not "4 weeks and done".
Equipment: Peak Pilates MV · Made in USA
At Pilates 111 you train on original Peak Pilates MV reformers — professional studio equipment from the world's leading manufacturer of pilates apparatus. Made in USA, with a long operating life, precisely adjustable springs, a smooth carriage with no play.
Why does that matter? Because a cheap reformer (Chinese imitations sold in Bulgaria for 800–1500 EUR) makes training unsafe. The carriage wobbles, the springs lose resistance after six months, the frame bends. On such an apparatus, serious technique work is impossible.
Who runs Pilates 111
The studio is led by Galya Petrova — in the fitness and pilates industry since 2015. She started as a group fitness instructor in Varna, gradually shifted to pilates, then specialised in reformer. Over the years she has worked with over 500 private clients and thousands of group sessions.
Her approach is personalised. Not "follow a recipe" — solve a specific problem with a specific person. That's what makes the difference from a typical group class — where the trainer can't see the detail.
Location
The studio is at 161 Knyaz Boris I Blvd, Varna — central Varna, 5–7 minutes' walk from the Greek Quarter and the city centre. Easy access by car (parking nearby) or public transport.
